We Did It!

For those of you who haven't made it to the gym this week, I want to let you know that we surpassed our goal! We raised $1304 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, beating last year's total of $1289. Thanks to everyone who helped make that possible.

Body & Soul members and friends should be really proud of that figure. In speaking to folks at St. Jude they are always impressed by how much Body & Soul, a smaller gym, raises.

I think there's a good chance that, overall, donations to St. Jude are down this year so I'm extremely happy that we were able to send them a few dollars more than last year.

St. Jude is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities around the world. St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. No child is ever denied treatment because of the family's inability to pay.
